This is the first book I've read by Loki Renard, but it may not be the last. This is an erotic story with corporal punishment and explict sex. Admittedly, I was hesitant about this book because I was concerned it was more about coercion and force than romance. Thankfully, I was wrong. Lydia is chosen by Tristan Kane, but she is also wooed, loved, protected, and yes, punished. If you enjoy sexy stories featuring Dominant males, I recommend Humbling His Bride without reservation.Product details

Lydia soon realizes that her father has been lying to her.Out side the city there are crumbled and burnt out buildings .There are people in rags who are starving .
Tristan takes her to his country cottage to start theirs life together.He expects Lydia to cook and clean but she has no idea how.Her family have robots to do the housework .
It's not long until Lydia finds herself over Tristan knee for her disobedience .He spanks her long and hard.
Lydia finds herself falling in love with Tristan,he is firm but fair.
Just as she finds peace and acceptance with her new life ,she is kidnapped and sentenced to death.
Tristan rescues her and destroys the resistance for ever
This book was an interesting read.The spankings where deserved .Lydia had the right amount of defiance and vulnerability .
There was danger,intrigue,steamy sex scenes and much more.
I was given this book by Stormy nights publication for a honest review.
What a wonderful book! The post-apocalyptic world in the future was a wonderful back-drop to an unexpected romance and love. Tristan is everything Lydia doesn't know she needs and she is what his life has been missing. Lydia is full of sass and certainly can find trouble if there is any to be had, but Tristan loves her all the more for it and together they were perfect. Great read that had me chuckling in quite a few places and happily cheering them on in others. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
The story itself is a moral I feel we should all abide too. It is the act of living that is wealth. Way too short for me as I was drawn into the story right away. It is simple, almost too domineering with the punishment being what it was in the first part to hold any meat to the story but, once after half way you get hooked. You get to experience the moral.
This was a fun short and fast read with lots of laughs, good sex and spanking scenes. There is a message in this story.
I enjoy all of Renard's books. This one was good, but somewhat predictable based on her other books. Still entertaining.
There isn't much story here. It's not worth your time. I'm not interested in anything else by this author. Sorry I can't get my time back.
Another amazing read by Loki Reynard. This is another creative and engaging story by this fantastic author Loki Reynard is one of my favorites the sex is always fantastic, the spankings well deserved, and the plot lines off the charts innovative. If you haven't read this yet do it now and add more from this author to your wish list!
